Beautiful Country of Seychelles. Every year 29th June is celebrated as Independence Day in Seychelles. The Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, off East Africa. It's home to numerous beaches, coral reefs and nature reserves, as well as rare animals such as giant Aldabra tortoises. Mahé, a hub for visiting the other islands, is home to capital Victoria. Eid-Ul-Fitr Eid al-Fitr   ( عيد الفطر ‎‎ , "feast of breaking of the fast") is an important   religious holiday   celebrated by   Muslims   worldwide that marks the end of   Ramadan , the   Islamic   holy month of   fasting   ( sawm ). The religious Eid is the first and only day in the month of   Shawwal   during which Muslims are not permitted to fast. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire   month of Ramadan . The day of Eid, therefore, falls on the first day of the month of Shawwal. The date for the start of any   lunar Hijri   month varies based on the observation of new moon by local religious authorities, so the exact day of celebration varies by locality. Eid al-Fitr has a particular   Salat   (Islamic prayer) consisting of two   Rakats   (units) and generally offered in an open field or large hall. World Vitiligo Day The   World Vitiligo Day , observed on June 25, is an initiative aimed to build global awareness about   vitiligo , a frequent and often disfiguring skin disease that can have a significantly negative social or psychological impact on patients, in part because of numerous misconceptions still present in large parts of the world. The idea of a World Vitiligo Day was first nursed by Steve Haragadon, the founder of the Vitiligo Friends network, and then developed and finalized by Ogo Maduewesi, a Nigerian vitiligo patient who is the founder and Executive Director of the Vitiligo Support and Awareness Foundation (VITSAF). Amriah Puri Amrish lal Puri born on 22 June 1932 was an Indian actor, who was an important figure in Indian theatre and cinema. He worked with notable playwrights of the time, such as Satyadev Dubey and Girish Karnad. He is remembered for playing iconic negative roles in Hindi cinema as well as other Indian and international film industries. Global Wind Day is a worldwide event that occurs annually on 15 June. It is organised by EWEA (European Wind Energy Association) and GWEC (Global Wind Energy Council).
